Tamworth Vintage Car Club Inc. (or TVCC as it is more frequently referred to) has about 50 members. Our 70 vehicles all comprise cars and light trucks, and some are quite rare. We can best be described as a medium size country club.

Ordinary meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Salvation Army Hall complex at 328 Goonoo Goonoo Road, Tamworth.

An Annual General Meeting is held each August, and we have 3 or 4 Committee Meetings each year.

Vehicle Runs:

Our regular monthly run is on the next Sunday following our meeting. The runs commence from the car park of the Country Music Hall of Fame at 561 Peel Street on the Paradise Caravan Park side.

A monthly mid week run is held on the 1st Thursday of each month and these commence from the same location as our monthly run. (See above). They have become known as Pie Runs and are of a casual and short nature which suits older vehicles.

Other events of a special nature such as Christmas runs and charity support are also held.

We are proud to be one of the hosts of the North West Rally which is rotated annually between Tamworth, Gunnedah, Narrabri, Moree, and Inverell clubs.

Vehicle Registration:

Annual inspections are held in late November/early December for all vehicles on concessional registration or Historic Conditional Registration Scheme (HCRS).

This inspection enables owners to register their vehicles in December each year.

Approval and Affiliation:

We are a Roads & Maritime Services Approved Club, and are affiliated with the Council of Heritage Motor Clubs NSW Inc -

Yes! We've got some of these, and they are all important:

Statement of Objects: Also recently updated in conjunction with the constitution.

Procedures & Policies: Provides everyday information about the Club and incorporates all the Clubs requirements for vehicles on Concessional Registration. A copy of this is given to all prospective new members.
